The 80 IHKs in Germany also offer assistance in business consolidation. The information offered covers topics such as right to firm name, industrial law and law of partnership as well as taxes and financing. Interested entrepreneurs also obtain information on public grants from their IHK.

"Round Table"

In some areas, the IHKs, together with the KfW Mittelstandsbank (KfW SME Bank) and the Chambers of Handicraft, offer companies with financial problems "round tables". Here, the companies in question and their financing partners and experts get together and develop a financing concept and measures to diminish sources of error. The round table also helps in the realisation.

This service offer is free, but it is not applicable to companies which fulfill the requirements for insolvency proceedings.
