"The meeting should be used as an opportunity to identify the greatest possible overlaps in key and sometimes highly controversial areas of reform. Especially in light of the challenges concerning the sustainable arrangements of the social security systems, the labor market, and location conditions, it is critical to reconcile various interests, strengthen mutual understanding, and identify common solutions. The business and employers' associations, along with their members, are ready to contribute to this process.

The members of the coalition committee have set a broad and sufficient range of topics for discussion during the meeting. We will debate these specific topics on Wednesday. For us, the focus must clearly be on growth and competitiveness. In this spirit, we have constructively participated in the preparation process.

It would be positive if it succeeds in achieving a common understanding of the target vision and political priorities while establishing clarity on the timeline for the upcoming reform projects. The business and employers' associations are prepared to contribute their share to the necessary compromises as part of an overall package for greater competitiveness, growth, and employment."
