The German Chambers of Commerce Abroad advise, support and represent German companies worldwide that want to establish or expand their foreign business. AHKs are institutions of German foreign trade promotion.

The network of German Chambers of Commerce Abroad (AHKs), consisting of bilateral Chambers of Commerce Abroad, delegations and representative offices of German business, advises, supports and represents German companies worldwide.

AHKs help companies to get started in a new market and to establish or expand their foreign business. They offer market analysis, help finding suitable partners and assist in founding a company. They also offer legal and tax information and support covering a wide range of tax and legal issues. They also provide bookkeeping services for companies abroad, as well as services concerning trade fairs such as acquisition of exhibitors and visitors, advertising and PR or the provision of relevant informations.

Connecting Germany to the world

The close cooperation between AHKs and the 79 Chambers of Commerce and Industry (IHKs) in Germany helps understanding the needs of the business community.  Business requirements can be dealt with directly by experts on site and answered with market-oriented solutions. Special country and regional events in the IHKs are prepared and carried out together with the respective AHKs.
