30.04.2025 - "The modest economic growth at the beginning of the year must not distract from the imminent threat of a third recession year for the German economy. Swift and decisive action is required. Before the summer break, the new federal government must push forward structural reforms that directly benefit businesses and provide tangible relief to companies. The coalition agreement offers several promising approaches in this regard. Examples include the announced reduction of bureaucracy, the acceleration of planning and approval processes, reduction in electricity prices, tax incentives through faster depreciation, and the speedy repair and expansion of infrastructure. Moreover, considering the current US trade policies and the generally challenging international situation, businesses face considerable challenges. This makes it all the more crucial that the new federal government sets the right course and swiftly and consistently improves the framework conditions for our companies."
