Recruit and train skilled labour
Well-trained, motivated and reliable skilled labour is the foundation for innovation, competitiveness and economic stability — and is at the same time becoming increasingly scarce. The DIHK (German Chamber of Commerce and Industry) draws on experiences from businesses and proposes a holistic approach: from school and vocational education to training and continuing education, employment, immigration and balancing family and career. In doing so, we demonstrate what modern skilled labour policies must look like — with strong training paths, flexible qualification offers, clear immigration laws and sustainable incentives for employment and continuing education. Only with such framework conditions can Germany secure its economic future and meet changing requirements.
