Economic Indicators

The Federal Statistical Office, the ifo Institute, the Centre for European Economic Research (ZEW), the market research institute GfK and many more regularly provide economic indicators for economic development in Germany, Europe, and the world. The compilation includes data on incoming orders, production, exports, capacity utilization, consumer prices, exchange rates and many other indicators as time series.

Foreign Trade by Countries and Country Groups

Who are Germany's most important trading partners? How has exchange developed with individual countries? What is the share of certain partners in total German exports? Answers to all these questions can be found in the following Excel file. It includes detailed data on German exports, imports, trade volume and trade balance (foreign trade balance) by months and years. It includes around 260 countries and many important country groups.
