Are you unsure whether to continue studying? Have you already left university or a university of applied sciences? What should happen next? If you can no longer or do not wish to continue your studies, now is the time to set a new course and look ahead.
While more and more first-year students in Germany are enrolling in higher education, far too many young people are still leaving universities without a degree. Whatever the reasons for these dropouts may be, vocational training can be a particularly attractive alternative – usually with a shortened training period.
There are also good reasons for training companies to pay attention to the "track changers" target group: They often bring interesting prior knowledge, a certain maturity, and independence.
Guidance and support for indecisive students and companies
Both sides are supported by the IHKs in turning study frustration into practical enthusiasm. They provide individual counseling and organize orientation and matchmaking formats. Platforms, educational fairs, and special initiatives offer assistance to those interested.
