The Middle East conflict, price hikes in oil and gas, along with the resulting uncertainty, dampen Germany’s industrial economy. Furthermore, structural problems at the domestic location weigh on business. A swift recovery is not expected. On the contrary, according to the recently published DIHK economic survey, one-third of industrial companies expect further deterioration of their situation in the coming months."
