Germany needs prompt and reliable decisions—especially concerning investments, approvals, or digitalisation. Within Cluster 2, the DIHK therefore demands consistent reduction of bureaucracy, as well as practical, transparent, and fair lawmaking. The aim is ‘better lawmaking,’ where new laws and regulations receive realistic impact assessments, and unnecessary hurdles are eliminated through effective instruments like the impactful ‘one-in-one-out’ rule and digital procedures. This makes administration more efficient, enables companies to plan faster, and positions business locations more competitively and future-proof.
