Eurochambres: The European Voice for Business and SMEs

Eurochambres unites the interests of over 20 million companies in Europe. As the largest network of German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IHKs) at the EU level, the association – together with the DIHK – brings the perspectives of SMEs and business directly into European legislation.

Representation of Interests at the EU Level

Eurochambres unites the European perspectives of business and brings them to where the course for Europe's competitiveness is set. The association actively accompanies EU legislative processes and advocates to the Commission, Parliament, and Council for practical regulations: ensuring a functioning single market, competitive framework conditions for business, and SME-friendly rules. As a common platform, Eurochambres also strengthens cross-border cooperation among chambers – including within the framework of EU-funded projects. You can find Eurochambres' positions here.

The DIHK as a Member of Eurochambres

As a founding member, DIHK represents the interests of the German economy within the umbrella association. Through its work in committees and governing bodies, German positions directly flow into European interest representation.
