Europe – Your team at the DIHK representation to the EU

The DIHK's EU representation in Brussels directly represents the interests of businesses to the EU institutions and monitors European political developments. It maintains continuous exchange with the European Parliament, the Council of the European Union, the European Commission, the Permanent Representation of the Federal Republic of Germany, as well as the representations of the German federal states in Brussels, and cooperates with national and European business associations such as Eurochambres. The tasks of the representation also include European political monitoring, European advocacy for the German Chambers of Commerce Abroad (AHKs) worldwide, and supporting the IHKs in European political activities, e.g., through organizing delegation trips to Brussels or conducting EU seminars on current topics.
