The responsibilities distribution plan defines the following areas of responsibility:
Dr Helena Melnikov, DIHK Chief Executive Officer: Representing the DIHK as an organisation and member of the executive presidium. Leading DIHK operations and advocating for the general interests of the commercial economy. Economic policy, political communication, political coordination, education, and DIHK-Bildungs-gGmbH, internal auditing, central committees, particularly the plenary assembly, presidium, chamber policy commission, and budget committee.
Dr Robin Borrmann, Deputy DIHK Chief Executive Officer: Deputy representation within the DIHK management board, responsible for business management, organisational development, compliance, central tasks such as finance, HR, IT, and communication, as well as the DIHK Service GmbH.
Dr Volker Treier, Member of the DIHK Management Board: Foreign trade, political affairs (Europe, International), Brussels office, AHK network, DIHK DEinternational GmbH, currency and trade policy, development cooperation, business surveys.
