In his opening address, DIHK President Peter Adrian emphasized the core aspects of the German-Kazakh partnership: investments, technology, local value creation, long-term presence, and training young professionals through German companies on site.

Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev advocated for a stronger partnership between the two countries.

The panel discussion "Transport, Resources, Industry – Growth Areas of Cooperation" featured Olaf Schmidt (Schachtbau Nordhausen GmbH), Niko Warbanoff (DB E.C.O. Group), Kazakh Minister of Transport Nurlan Sauranbayev, Daniyar Idrissov (Tau-Ken Samruk), and moderator Eduard Kinsbruner.

During the event, public and private sector memorandums of understanding amounting to a total of 1.8 billion euros were signed.
