Growth is only visible in the construction industry and energy generation sectors. The domestic industry has yet to benefit from the positive trend in order intake that has been evident since the beginning of the year. Production is increasingly taking place at foreign sites. A sustained economic upturn in Germany urgently requires improvements in local conditions. Structural problems here remain largely unresolved.”
