Under the motto "Resilience in Action – Partnership in Progress," the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DIHK), the German Eastern Business Association (OA) and the German-Ukrainian Chamber of Industry and Commerce (AHK Ukraine) invited participants to the bilateral summit at the House of German Business.
The three panel discussions on "Economic Resilience and Reconstruction," "Transformation in the Defense Industry," and "Ukraine's future economic model" featured experts from the economy alongside Federal Minister of Economic Affairs Katherina Reiche, Ukrainian Minister of Economy Oleksii Sobolev, and Parliamentary State Secretary Johann Saathoff (BMZ).
The discussion on cooperation in the defense sector included contributions from Ukrainian Presidential Advisor Oleksandr Kamyshin, Deputy Minister of Defense Hanna Hvozdiar, and State Secretary at the Federal Ministry of Defense Jens Plötner.
The conference concluded after seven intense hours with a celebrated performance by the Ukrainian group "Cultural Forces." Moderator Reiner Perau, Managing Director of AHK Ukraine, bid farewell to the participants, expressing hope that the 9th German-Ukrainian Business Forum would take place again in the Ukrainian capital Kyiv.
