The committees of the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry form the organizational backbone of the decision-making process of the chamber organization at the federal level. They bring together the knowledge, experience, and perspectives of entrepreneurs from industry, trade, and services – from the regional chambers of commerce to the national umbrella organization.
Additionally, the executive board, general management, and 17 practice-oriented specialist committees provide the institutional framework for well-founded decision-making and expert advice on political decision-making processes.
